Using the hole to tie it to your upper shoelace. This is recommended for MUD RUNS and when it rains. Use the adhesive strip to attach the D-Tag together and then lace one of you shoelaces through the hole and tie your shoes.
Sliding the D-Tag through your bottom laces and then using the adhesive strip to attach it
Both of these are acceptable ways to attach the D-Tag to your shoe - DO NOT FLATTEN IT OUT!
- Wrap the ankle strap around your ankle using the Velcro strip.
- Make sure that it is pointing away from you as in the picture below.
- DO NOT take it off the band. If you do so you will probably not put it back on correctly and it will not read.
- DO NOT place the ankle strap UNDER your WETSUIT or socks. It must be exposed when you are running over mats.
- It is not a wrist strap. It must be placed around your ankle.
